Destructive Book Scanning	This option is for those who do not need to have their books returned. The spine and cover will be cut off the book prior to scanning and the book will be scanned using automatic sheet fed scanners. The cover will not be scanned. The final output will be posted on our secure server in Zip format and you will receive an Email giving you an access code so you can download the Zip file and review it. (Optionally we can FTP your file to you). After 10 days your physical book will be shredded using our secure NAID Certified shredding service at no extra cost to you. The price for any size book up to 11″x17″ is $9.99 plus 6 cents per page. All pages count and will be scanned, even the blank ones unless marked not to scan with a sticky note with an ‘X’ marked on it and stuck on the page edge opposite the spine. All pages will be scanned in black and white unless marked with a sticky note with a ‘C’ for color or ‘G’ for greyscale and stuck on the page edge opposite the spine.
Non-Destructive Book Scanning	This option is for those who want their book returned, unharmed, after scanning. Although great care is taken to protect your book from harm, this option should not be used for precious, old and fragile books. The book will be scanned using high quality book scanners. The cover will be scanned in color at no extra charge. The final output will be posted on our secure server in Zip format and you will receive an Email giving you an access code so you can download the Zip file and review it. (Optionally we can FTP your file to you). After 10 days your physical book will be packaged and shipped back to you at no extra charge. The price for any size book up to A2 (16.5″ x 23.3″) and up to 4 inches thick is $19.95 plus 9.5 cents per page. All pages count and will be scanned, even the blank ones unless marked not to scan with a sticky note with an ‘X’ marked on it and stuck on the page edge opposite the spine. All pages will be scanned in black and white unless marked with a sticky note with a ‘C’ for color or ‘G’ for greyscale and stuck on the page edge opposite the spine.
Precious Care Book Scanning	This is designed to treat old and fragile books with the upmost care. We keep your books away from light until just before they are scanned. The books are fitted into a special cradle so as to protect the spine. Light is used for only a very short time in order to make the scans and then the book is returned to its darkened protective container. The cover will be scanned in color at no extra charge. The final output will be posted on our secure server in Zip format and you will receive an Email giving you an access code so you can download the Zip file and review it. (Optionally we can FTP your file to you). After 10 days your physical book will be packaged and shipped back to you at no extra charge. The price for any size book up to A2 (16.5″ x 23.3″) and up to 4 inches thick is 99 cents per page. All pages count and will be scanned in black and white, even the blank ones unless indicated on a separate specification sheet indicating the page number and whether it is to be deleted or scanned in greyscale. Except for the cover, color scans are not available for the Precious Care Book Scanning option.
Searchable PDF File	This format includes a picture file of your page with a text file overlay that allows you to search for words or phrases. This option is FREE if chosen as a first option. As an additional option the price is $12 per book.
Word Document File	This file contains only OCR’d text that can be edited and searched using a word processor such as Microsoft Word. This option is FREE if chosen as a first option. As an additional option the price is $12 per book.
MP3 Audiobook File	This file generates spoken text. It can be played on any MP3 player. Use this option when you want to hear your book instead of reading it. We use conversion software for a natural sounding narration. This option is FREE if chosen as a first option. As an additional option the price is $12 per book.
EPub File	This is for Nook, Sony or iPad. This option is FREE if chosen as a first option. As an additional option the price is $12 per book.
PRC File	This format will allow your file to be loaded into a Kindle eBook reader. This option is FREE if chosen as a first option. As an additional option the price is $12 per book.
Other File Formats	JPEG or TIF files are pictures of your scanned pages. Either format is FREE if chosen as a first option. As an additional option the price is $12 per book.
Recognition of non-English languages	We support many different languages. If the book contains languages other than English add $12 per book. (Languages are Free if you only choose to receive JPEG ,TIF, ePub or PRC files).
Greyscale and Color Scans	Greyscale is used for black and white photos and color is used for color photos and color highlights on a page. Keep in mind that black and white scans produce the best OCR results. All greyscale and color scans are 99 cents per page except for color covers.
Other File Delivery Media	Files delivered on DVD or Thumb Drives are $30 per DVD or Thumb Drive. Files delivered on a Hard Drive is $199 per Terabyte.
Document Scanning	Unbound pages all the same size and equivalent to 20# bond paper and without fasteners such as staples will be scanned in black and white at 6 cents per page. After 10 days original documents will be destroyed by secure shredding.
